Apple softens third-party battery stance

If only recently the non-original battery in the iPhone smartphone became the reason for the refusal of warranty service, the other day it became known that the company’s position on the issue had been softened.

According to MacRumors, from now on, if the owner of the branded Apple device independently replaced the “native” battery with a third-party battery, it will not be denied any warranty or service, provided that the malfunction of its gadget is in no way connected to the non-original battery.

Perhaps this step Apple is associated with a scandal, when it turned out that the American corporation artificially reduced the performance of its old models, especially replacing the battery can significantly increase the service life of a mobile device.
