LG's mobile sector has been in trouble for the third year already - along with a decrease in the company's market share, its losses are growing. In total, the South Korean manufacturer because of smartphones lost $ 2.2 billion in just the last few years.
Despite the severity of the situation, the company’s management is not going to leave the mobile sector. Qiao Yujin in a recent interview noted that mobile devices now play a too large role in the use of home appliances and the Internet of things, and therefore there is no question about the termination of the release of smartphones.
At the moment, the company's market share in the mobile sector is less than 2%, LG was forced to leave the market of the Middle Kingdom and is about to leave the Philippines.
